What types of activities will the intern do: We’re looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern. Offering a flexible schedule and a fun work environment, you will collaborate with our marketing and sales teams to help achieve and expand our goals.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
· Assist in building photo and video content libraries for company brands.
· Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns.
· Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on social accounts.
· Support the marketing and sales teams in daily administrative tasks.
· Take product photos and create walkthrough videos of for sale inventory boats.
· Help distribute marketing materials.
· Manage and update information in company contact management systems (e.g. Constant Contact, Salesforce, etc.)
· Help plan and organize marketing events.
Skills & Requirements
· Seeking candidate that has a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and is a great team player.
· Must be organized and detail oriented.
· Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
· Adobe Creative software experience a plus.
· Social media management experience required.
· Photography and video editing skills preferred.
· Boating industry knowledge preferred.
· Valid driver’s license and good driving record with proof of insurance.
· Must be willing to work occasional weekend and/or evening hours to assist with events.
