What types of activities will the intern do: Join us for 6-14 days aboard the Windjammer Angelique, the only ketch in the Maine Windjammer Association, and explore the job possibilities available in traditional sailing on Penobscot Bay! Through this internship, you’ll learn the basics of sail handling, knotwork, navigation, galley/cooking skills, wooden boat/engine maintenance, guest services, and teamwork skills. No previous experience is necessary (although it certainly helps); just bring your interest in sailing, your desire to learn, and your willingness to work hard.

Is transportation provided: No, but interns are provided with a bunk and all meals when sailing.
