What types of activities will the intern do: We’re excited to offer a summer intern to join Sea Love for a 3-month immersive experience
in small business operations, entrepreneurship, and tourism-driven retail.
This hands-on role offers a behind-the-scenes look at how we build and grow a modern
fragrance experience brand - blending guest experience, storytelling, operations, and
strategic marketing.
You won’t just observe, you’ll actively contribute to the daily rhythm of the business while
gaining meaningful, real-world experience across multiple areas of growth.
What You’ll Experience & Contribute To
Guest Experience & Scent Styling
• Daily operations and train to work as a Scent Stylist, guiding guests through personalized fragrance experiences (weekend availability required for busiest business days).
• Learn how to create meaningful, story-driven interactions, not just transactions
• Support special moments (birthdays, bridal, date nights, group experiences)
• Capture authentic guest reactions, testimonials, and trends
• Observe booking flow + customer journey
Luxury Perfume Experience (Launch + Growth)
• Assist in the rollout and daily execution of our Luxury Perfume Experience
• Learn the flow and pacing of an elevated, premium service
• Support setup, guest experience, and reset of the perfume station
• Help document insights and opportunities to refine the experience
Brand Content & Digital Growth
• Create short-form video content (Reels/TikTok) to grow and engage our audience for @sealovekennebunkport
• Capture “day in the life” and behind-the-scenes moments
• Support storytelling that reflects the Sea Love brand voice
• Assist in testing content that drives traffic and bookings
Marketing & Tourism Integration
• Support execution of our 30-Day Marketing Playbook
• Assist with local tourism outreach (hotels, concierge, partnerships)
• Help position Sea Love as a must-visit destination experience
• Contribute ideas for campaigns, partnerships, and guest engagement
Production, Fulfillment & E-Commerce
• Gain hands-on experience with sealove.com direct to consumer order fulfillment and “happy mail” packaging
• Assist with picking, packing, and shipping online orders
• Learn inventory flow, production processes, and quality control
• Understand how the in-store experience connects to e-commerce
In-Store Experience & Merchandising
• Support maintaining a calm, elevated, and curated store environment
• Assist with visual merchandising and product displays
• Help identify opportunities to improve guest flow and in-store experience
Business Operations & Entrepreneurship
• Observe and participate in daily business operations
• Gain insight into booking trends, customer behavior, and revenue drivers
• Develop an “owner mindset” by identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
Systems, Process & Brand Development
“The Sea Love Experience, Through My Eyes”
• Assist in documenting key processes and guest experience flows
• Understand day-to-day operations into repeatable systems
• Capture and document the full Sea Love experience
• Develop content and storytelling around the brand
• Identify opportunities for growth or enhancement
• Present ideas and recommendations to the team
