Marketing Internship

Agritourism & Aquatourism (farm stands, orchards, oyster farm...)
Business Name: Eastern Trail Alliance
Town, County: Biddeford, ME, York
Minumum Age: 16
What types of activities will the intern do:

Do you love being outdoors, taking photos, graphic design, and completing projects? The Eastern Trail Alliance (ETA) seeks applications for one marketing internship position during the summer of 2025. The ETA builds, maintains, and promotes the Eastern Trail, southern Maine's premier multi-use greenway. The Eastern Trail is a visionary plan for a long-distance walking and bicycling trail that will one day extend continuously from South Portland to Kittery. Today, there are more than 20 miles of completed off-road, multi-use trail in southern Maine.

This summer, we are seeking one marketing intern to report to our executive director and develop a library of high-quality photos, graphics, and infographics that tell our story and highlight the beauty of the Eastern Trail.

The intern should be prepared to a) work from a personal computer and camera, b) frequent the trail to snap photos, and c) arrange their own transportation to/from trailheads from Scarborough to Kennebunk. Access to a bicycle, along with the ability to ride it, is a plus but not required.

Interns will benefit from working in a small nonprofit environment in which everyone's work has immediate impact and opportunities to learn something new are endless. Start and end dates of internship are negotiable, hoping for roughly a four week commitment.

20-40 hour internships are available from mid-June through the end of July. Applicants age 16-17 may apply if they have completed one year of a mass communications/graphic design/photography CTE program (teacher recommendation letter required). We look forward to having you join us!
