Maine Apprenticeship Program

Some people know what their career path is early on, but they also know that they thrive with hands-on experience. 

The Maine Department of Labor has partnered with businesses throughout the state to create the Maine Apprenticeship Program. Unlike MTA Internships, apprentices are initially untrained applicants who gain on-the-job experience while working as full-time employees in their chosen field. This program requires 2000 hours of hands-on learning and 144 hours of classwork to complete.
